As you know petrolium is a limited resource. Scientists think that we will run out of oil in my lifetime (I'm 13). That means no more cars and internal combution engines as we know them today. I really don't like this and just want to know your opinion.

sooner or later down the road. they should be coming out with syntec gas, like they do with motor oil. but highly doubt that oil will be out. maybe if they come out with syntec gas it might be better for cars:bandit:

i think that we would only if syntec gas would be in production. you will need some of the real thing but very small amounts:bandit:

I know but if it comes to that I don't think driving oil burning cars will be worth it.

well I would imagine once all the natrual oil is used up cars will be powered by alcohol or equivelant

Yeah, will as long as it performs, smells and sounds the same as gasoline burning cars it's fine with me.

The smell will be different and sound will probably be close but again maybe a different note.
As far as performance well Alcohol has a much higher octane rating so you do the math :)

Yeah, I know about the performance increase with alcohol. And I just forgot about the smell. I should know that it smells different as I run it in my RCs all the time. Stupid me.
