3.0 v6 swap?

OK! I have a 1992 dodge d50 aka mighty max clone with a 2.4 5 speed. I know that there was a 3.0 v6 option in 92. I was wondering if anyone was knowledgable enough to know if the 3.0 was the same engine as the 94 3000 mitsi/ dodge stealth engine and if so, would it fit the pickup 5 speed for rear wheel drive. I happen to have a friend with a rollover that I could get at a good price. Lots of wiring and such but it might be fun.

Did you have any luck with your swap?? I just bought a 94 mighty max, mostly for my 16 y/o son but also for a daily work vehicle. Do you know where parts are available for these things?? Or what kind of swaps can be done? Talk later, HL.
