I'd like to know how much power the stock block can make. Also, is it awd? Is type-S turbo, whats the diff btwn that and the reg?

RSX: DOHC 16 valve 2.0 liter 4-in-line 160hp/141 lb-ft/7400 rpm
RSX-S: 200hp/142 lb-ft/6500 rpm
Neither model is awd and no turbo. The S has the same block but offers the ivtec on the intake and exhaust valves (only intake on the base) and has an 11.0:1 compression ratio to the base 9.8:1. The base has a dual-stage intake manifold, the S has a single set of runners. The S is a short throw six to the base's 5 speed has upgraded vented rotors.

thanx, wow, out of all the owners, no one could answer
But, i meant how much power can the motor make before you got to replace internals. (skyline can make up and over 1000 hp)

Sageprime1 was saying its more than possible to get upwards 0f 305 hp at the wheels from the base model- not sure how that would translate to the S with similar mods. Pretty close to the Skyline, eh?

Don't think so...just pointing out how badass the Skyline is.

the skyline is also a v6 and can come from the dealership with twin turbos... it is made to withstand the preasure of turbos while the rsx doesnt even have a turbo option... thats why it makes sense that the skyline can reach so much hp on stock internals while the rsx has a harder time turboing because of its high c/r...

Yes- ...I know the specs and completely understand why the Skyline is faster. It's elementary. I was just being a bit sarcastic. These two cars really can't be compared on any level.
