Check out this friggin monster. Ever seen a Dominator II with a carb? This gentlemen is a Panhandle Performance race prepped 408. Canfield stageIII heads, Isky custom grind, Barry Grant 950, 15lbs boost, NOS 200hp fogger, C4, 3.73. Shall I go on? It resides within a 89 notchback. I wish I could tell you the exact numbers but it has yet to see the dyno or 1/4. In the 1/8 without the N2O it ran 7.20s all day. Now it easily carries the front tires through 1st on the bottle. We estimate the hp at around 500+ on the motor. This thing was unleashed upon mobile the weekend before Thanksgiving. My buddy led us to the nearest swarm of imports. Several Civics, a 350Z, Neons(ha), an RX-7, and two Supras both turbos, one a high 11sec car we were told later, all parked in the
Wall Mart parking lot. We rumbled up right up beside a crowd of people looking at the 350, sat there a few seconds so no one could talk........ok and shut it off. We got a hell of alot of attention but no one wanted to race. Imagine that. This thing is a blast to ride in, sort of picks your ass up about 3 inches off the seat and just glues you to the back of the seat. I've driven it a couple of times. In street trim(8lbs boost, pump gas) this thing is still faster than my car, in race form it almost scares me to let it loose. :22yikes:

Couple more pics in gallery.

That is a wicked car, sweet set up and still street driveable!! building a truly fast car is one thing but building one that you can actually drive around the city in is another,I would love to cruise around in that thing!

:naughty:

I have alot of pictures of nasty street cars from my area. Some are even faster than this one. If anyone is interested I'll find some cool ones and post them.

The 94 is a little of both, it runs at the local tracks. I think it had a big block and runs low 6s through the 1/8. The red LX I regret is not mine, but the engine is all Panhandle, blown 347 baby. A high 10sec car, it is street but just to cruise.

I believe this one from the World Ford Challenge ran in the 8sec range, with a turbo 347. I have photos of the engine but I've got to find them first.
