I have a 2000 Gr Caravan. The problem is my a/c working fine in mid and rear vents but blows warm air in the front area.

Just wanted to know if you solved this problem and what it was. I'm having the same with a 97 model. Two shops have looked and can't tell me what is wrong. Thanks.

Just a thought - Most ac/heater units use engine vacumn to actuate the internal directional vents. With no vacumn, air just comes out the defroster or floor vents. You might try looking in the engine compartment on the firewall for either a broken or disconnected vacumn hose that goes into the firewall.

Not sure on the 2000 but check the temp control levers. They usually operate a door that mixes in heater air. Try with the A/C off, levers to the cool side. If the air is hot the door may be stuck.
