95 Escort Tip

When I was looking for a vacum leak today I noticed the 90 deg elbow that hooks to a plastic hose that runs from the intake to the PCV valve was sucked flat and there for the PCV wasn't working. The 90 deg elbow comes off the top of the intake and slides over the plastic tube, That 90 was really a thin peice of rubber so i'm sure there are a lot of them out there that will have this problem. yep, I believe that the fuel vapors soften the rubber.
