Ok, i wanna replace my rear panel speakers in my 1995 GSR integra, they are 6 1/2 and i already have the speakers, Polk DX series, does just the grill come off back there or does the whole panel?? either way could someone tell me how to get the panel or grill off?? thanks for your help.

the grill comes off, but to do it properly you need to remove the panel, this involves both parts of the 60/40 seat to be removed, then the bottom of the seat, the panel then has a bunch of screws & clips you need to remove then it pulls out.

holy hell thats alot more trouble than i wanna go through lol, ill just pay 30 bucks and get my friend at circuit to do it. if i take off just the grill will it screw something up?? like maybe not fitting back on properly and causing a rattle? that and cosmetic damage is all i mtrying to avoid. thanks

the reason why i prefer not to remove the back seat is because i just got my amp installed and its on the back of the rear seats...... so yea that would be a pain.

ok well i took off the grill and to no avail, the speaker is too large to fit out of the hole, so i guess you do have to take off the whole panel, just an FYI for those of you who are gonna try.
