I'm having problems programming a new keyless entry I purchased for my 1999 Nissan Altima. The FCC Id on the back is the same as my current remote and I've gone through the following steps:
1) locking the car from the interior using the switch
2) inserting and removing the key from the cylinder 6 times within 5 seconds.
3) turning the key to the acc position
4) pressing the button once on my keyless remote
5) removing the key
The only problem I can think of is that my car has an alarm and it in some way could be interfering with the programming. When I turn the key to ACC the alarm disarms regardless of whether I perform step 2 the hazards flash twice.
Can anyone help??

bring it to the dealership and they'll do it for around 30 bucks

try searching in this forum under Frontier. I found some good instructions to program and they worked!
