Ive been looking into a prelude because I want to buy a new car. I was looking on autotrader and I saw some between 17k-10k and they ranged from 30k miles to 78k miles I was wondering how many miles a prelude can get before have engine trouble, and what a good price would be.

It is all dependent on what the previous driver did to the car(driving habits) and how well they maintained it. Just because it has low miles doesn't mean it's in great condition. Are there still any brand new 01 Preludes?

it does depend on the previous drivers, but... (everyone will agree) not as much in a honda. i would care about miles if i was going to buy a gm/ford/chrysler, but i've had 2 honda's one (civic)i put 80k hard miles and it had over 200k when i sold it, and it is still on the road today. my 93 lude now... well to keep it short, gets the piss ran out of it. it has 187k. i've never done anything but routine maintenence on either car.
