HELP, No Pulse @Coil!

I have a 84' 533i that isn't getting a Pulse from computer to the #1 terminal on the coil. I have (thankfully) read & reread nearly every message in the forum on the subject, but am still troubled as what to look for & do next.

Here is what I DO know: Starter cranks, battery good, new coil, fuel system works, new spark plugs, relays & fuses. I have pulled the DME and looked for faulty solder joints, but they all look fine to me. Anybody got pictures or diagrams?

This started (Nov) when the outside tempature hit the 40's at night. It won't start in 20-55 degree temp's at all, but when hood warms up under the sun 60 degrees & up the car will start after a recharge on the battery. Car runs fine and will restart in warm weather and (at least) every 3 hours during cold weather (it's hard to get a good nights sleep). So when it sits longer than 4 hours in the cold, it won't fire up. Can anyone help me? A big Thank You in advance!

Dang, I never got a thanks before I explained the issue before.

OK OK, here is the deal.

Using WD40 on connectors is not bad for correcting corrosion.

See the reference sensor below, with no signal from it the ECU provides no signal to fire the coil.

See the words "GRAY CONNECTOR", that is the connector on the aft intake brace.

See the connectors under the title, Idle speed actuator, in figure 3.
