Ok...i'm getting ready to buy a civic Ex.I'm going to put a B16A in it.But befor i do that i'm want to make the engine bigger. We all know that the B16 is a 1.6 liter.I want to make it a 2.0 liter.I want to port it...where can i get it done, whats the best place i can send it to?I dont know a thing about porting so please help me out.I'm going to get new valves, valve springs and retainers. How do i know what size's to get...will they tell me when the porting is done?I'm going to bore it too.I'm going to bore it to 84mm.I'm going to get the crower stroker kit so thats how i'm going to stroke it but my question is how do i know that when the valves open its not going to hit the piston or anything?Whats somethings that i need to find out about that?I also want to get crane cams stage 2 cams. What C/R should i run it with a turbo?9:1?Do you think that all this can work having a turbo?Just to let you know i want to make it for the street. If you can help that would be cool. Thanks!

Sound like you need to find a trustworthy shop to tell you. Resleeving would be a good one and lower the compression a bit. Other than that those motors run like kings turbocharged.
Allways have this answered BEFORE calling a shop...How much money do you have to spend on block and head prep. The turbo kit alone will cost you over $3,000.00....and that does not include dyno time and/or installation.
Good Luck!!

Get a B18 instead of the B16 if you want it to be bigger.

If you buy a kit from cougarsvt it will cost over 3k, but you could easily put together a costom kit for $2500 or less.
