yea the only problem was that there was a blown head gasket and i was fixing it at my tech school and i guess i wasnt done with when i took it out, i know what i did wrong, theres a steel hose that is threaded into the back of the block, i kinda forgot to put that back when i put the head assembly in so i figured that i could use neopreme hose and just clamp that down real good, another is i forgot to put the oil drain pulg in and the radiator cap, the reason for that was that i was sorta in a hurry because i was going to be late getting back to my home school and when i pulled into the parking lot of the school i noticed that there was smoke coming from under the hood. so i lifted up the hood and the engine was on fire. it was a really small fire at the back of the headers so im thinking that i might have not cleaned up some sort of cleaning solution or something, i dont know. ever since that day its been sitting outside at my dads house. i dont know what to do i really love that car, but my grandfather who used to be a mechanic says that i wont be able to fix it so he said to junk it. i dont want to part with it tho, cuz it was my first car do you have any advise because im really short on money right now to buy a whole new engine.
