b18c5 in my sol

I have a b18C5 in my 93 del sol si ... i got a dc sports header, cat back wit a test pipe cat .... and with a zex kit ... 75 shot ... i got 15x10 lenzos... with mickey slicks ... ... what do you think i will hit in the 1/4 mile ... i was thinkin about a low to mid 13 ... what do you think .???:bloated:

I think without using the ZEX kit, you could get LOW 13s with the Mickeys and with the 75 shot, probably low 12s.

i think low 13's is going to be your limit, and that will only be on a good day. i would expect mid 13's, while you are spraying. you do have a nice motor in there, but you have not done much work to it, and a sol does not weigh a lot less than a type r. if you can keep traction, then low 13's could be possible, and the slicks will help, but 75 shot is going to make you break loose no matter how hard you try. good luck.

the part that concerns me is the header, you should really go with a jdm type r header, much better flow the dc is to resrtictive, I have a type r in my sol and hooking up is no joke, spin for days but i am not running mickeys. i would hate to see you hurt that engine, high compression and nos could be a heart breaker. I lowered my compression with a new set of forged pistons and put on a supercharger with a 10# pulley. I love makeing mustangs cry
