Anyone watch Rides debut on TLC last night? It wasn't exactly what I hoped for. Hopefully, the other episodes are better. This one was about Ford building a concept, that wil be produced, with a V-10. It was kinda boring.

I missed it, I wanted to see it though. Was the whole show about the Ford Concept?

I also found it kinda boring. I was expecting maybe either 4 segments or around 15 minutes each on different cars and the people that own them or Two 30 minute segments. It was disappointing, especially after showing Lambos and Ferrari's in the preview commercial. Oh well, I'll still check it out each week.

It was on 8:00 pm Central so I think that is 9:00 pm Eastern.

Well, they said last night that it was a special episode because it was like a top secret project. I could've cared less. Anyway I think all the other episodes are suppose to be better, more cars.

yeah I agree that it was a boring episode of rides when they were building the Ford Concept and Carroll Shelby was driving it at the end.

I dont know, I kinda liked it. I liked how they gave some insight into the concept car production, especially of something so famous as the Cobra. What can I say, Im a geek.

i think they could've fit the cobra exclusive in a 30 minute segment, and then devoted the rest to something more exciting, whats up with the 90210 guy as the host? i didn't know he was into cars

yeah, he races them from time to time, in fact he was in an accident not too long ago. He's recovered since then of course.

Aiight. I caught Rides last night for the first time. And from what I heard about the last episode, I figure this weeks show was a total 180 from last weeks. this episode was one of the best car shows I seen in a while. That Ferrari Enzo on there was sick. I can't believe a oil change could cost 700 dollars. :eek2:

Last nights episode was pretty cool. It makes me mad though, that most of those people that bring their cars in their don't deserve to make the money that they do.

another good episode of Rides last night. I was feeling what they did to that Escalade for Hotwheels. Anybody catch it?

They should have mentioned how much all that work cost.

For which vehicle? And really it isn't any bodies business except for Hot Wheels.
