question for the pros

i just want to know the difference between a 1989 trans am and a 1989 trans am gta?

the GTA was pontiacs step above the T/A, it came with a fuel injected 5.7 litre (350) it was like the Iroc camaros.

BUT!!! in 89 a special edition T/A was offered with a turbo v6, this was one of the fastest stock t/a's ever!! running the low 13's in the quarter mile.

personally the only way i would pick the T/A over the GTA is if it had the turbo v6.

yes i was looking for a turbo v6 but i live in australia they are very rare and expensive here.
range up in the high 30's.
so i looked around for just the normal v8 pontiac trans am 80s model
but thankyou alot i was about to spend a extra 6 grand on a gta model and im thinking of taking out the 350 engine and putting in a 400 anyway so it will do me no help spending the extra 6 grand thanks alot firechicken you were a great help
