I hate the new year already!

I'm back from a small holiday vacation (and trip to the hospital). Anyways...I was on my way home from my friends' New Year's party about 3 in the morning. I was at least halfway home, when a Hummer H2 ran the red light and struck my car. :banghead: I thought I was gonna be crippled, but the only thing I have to show for it is a scar on my forehead and my right arm in a cast. My point: I hate H2s(edit: I like the H1 better anyway) I hate the fact that people drink till they're so damn stupid to drive, and I hate this whole friggin' year! :banghead: I'm stuck driving my mom's car for a while(until I have enough money to get another car) and she knows how much I hate it. The only good thing about it is that I still have another 2 weeks before I can go back to work. I swear; the next Hummer that passes my house is gonna get smashed the %@#% open!!!

shit the dude that struck your car should give you a new one don't you think since it was his stupidity that got you in the hospital and made your car go to the junkyard (RIP). He definitely should give you a car and be like: I am sorry, please hit me over the head with your cast! and after you put him in a world of pain and get your brand new car that he pays it will be square! :smokin:

You should be happy that your still alive to enjoy your life. Who cares if you have to drive your moms car, it'll get you from point A to B won't it? And you should also be glad you have a parent that will help you out and let you drive their car. I have several friends whose parents are so into themselves that they'd kill their own kids before helping them out. So you have a lot to be thankful for. Try and make the best of what you do have.......your life. It's not worth bumming around hating everything, things could be a lot worse.

If you know they go driving while they are drunk, when you see them leave, call the cops and inform them there are drunk drivers our and about, give them the plate number and vehicle description and let them do the rest.

That does suck. I remember when my brother's car was totalled by an Excursion - no alcohol involved, just a plain stupid driver in a vehicle too large for her. Now if they'd been driving a Geo Metro instead of an H2, practically nothing would've happened (it'd be like an accident between two golf carts) hoo-ray for light cars!

I fully agree. Thats 1/2 the reason why our insurance rates are going up...cause people are STUPID! Some teens are good drivers, and I think that they shouldn't be punished for other's wrongdoing. There should really be two levels of insurance - you get one chance. The first time you get caught driving drunk or doing something else stupid - BAM, you start paying $$ for it. It is as simple as that, to me atleast.

i'm having a shitty year as well.... try starting off the year with a case of shingles (Herpes Zoster) (http://www.aad.org/pamphlets/herpesZoster.html) ... no its not herpes its like the chicken pox but worse....have an ER dr. tell you its just an infection from the eyebrow ring....then find out its not so you took out the eyebrow ring for nothing which is now closed...then getting dumped
