headers, free-flowing cat, cat-back exhaust, k&n air filter, intake manifold, heads, 3.73 gears, computer chip. those items should be a good start for ya.

Intake, Headers, Cat-Back, LT4 Knock Module, Gears, Programming... that should just about use it all up...

obviously the headers and exhaust are a good idea, programming all that. also work on the other side of the air pump that is your engine. intake. port and polish the heads, a bigger throttle body, big valves in the heads. thermal coatings are good, but on a budget the effects are negligable. but if you want to, thermal coat the piston crown, valve faces and combustion chamber as well as the exhaust port. also antifriction coatings on the piston skirts and other bearings in the engine will free up horsepower. think of your engine as an air pump, anything you do to make it pump air more easily will make more power, also, anything you do to reduce friction in the engine will free up power from the rotating assembly. with that in mind, a crank scraper would be a good idea, make one of sheet metal. tap holes in the block on the main webbing, and screw it on. it should follow the profile of the crank and connecting rods with about a 1/8 inch gap. and fit inside the oil pan. dosnt do much at lower rpm's, but at higher rpms, can free up as much as 20hp.
