hello everyone. i am new here at af, and i have to tell you this has to be one of the best sites i have ever been to. anyway, on with my question. i have just completed my 1st model, the civic coupre from revell. i have put all of the decals on, and they all look great, except for the carbon fiber one that goes on the hood. it is kind of bubbly, and when i let it dry and poke them with the xacto, it dosent work, and im afraid that if i keep moving it arround that it will tear. I really want to make this model look good as it is my 1st model, but i cant figure this decal out; im just stuck. If anyone can maybe give me alittle advice on how to make it perfect i would really appreciate it!
P.S. i will post pics of the prob l8er today, i am at school right now.

1. Try some Micro-Set Decal setting solution; should work wonders.
2. Also try laying a clean rag soaked with very warm water (Wrung out) and placing it on top of the decal for about 3 minutes. Should do the trick as well. Welcome and don't forget to post pictures in the Completed and In-Progress section! Take care!! :)

if you ruin the decal its not the end of the world. (its kinda easy to do) the surface on which your applying it to remains the same and carbon fiber decals are pretty easy to source. try what tonio and Zcaithaca told ya and if it doesn't work you can always get some replacement decals. any one of us could point you in the right direction for sourcing them just shoot us a PM or do a search on it.
