Where is the OIL filter?

I have a fist generation TL a 96 2.5...i thought id save a little money and change the oil for myself for the first time. But i cant find the oil filter! i know that sounds dumb but i never changed the oil myself. if anyone can help id appreciate it. THNX

I wasn in the same bind and took my 98 TL to the local mechanic who pointed the filter out - high on the driver side of the engine, almost concealed by the intake manifold. He changed the filter (he had one) , aired the tires and charged $22. Hope this helps,.
