Painting Window Frames

When i paint the window frame/rubbers of my model car, some of the paint lifts off. The paint used is Tamiya Acrylic Paint X-18. Are there ways to prevent it and/or cure it?
I have also heard that enamel paint does not lift off as easily as acrylic paint. Is that true?

yes, coz acrylic is water based, i think it lifts off quite easily, and enamel sticks well...
