Prob. a simple Noob question about a '92 stereo mount...

A few months ago, my girlfriend's car was broken into and, someone stole her stock stereo. I bought her one for Christmas and, then found out that the person had taken her stock stereo mounts as well.
I have searched at salvage yards, E-bay, and various Honda parts and performance sites (as well as Honda's website....yeah...useless) and, can't find the stock mount.
Basically, all I have to work with is the 2 screw holes facing outwards from the console frame to mount anything to so, I can't mount the cage that came with the head unit.
Anyone have any pointers, sites or suggestions on how I can mount it into the factory stereo location? I know i could mount it below dash or whatnot but, that would leave a nice gaping hole in the dash.
By the way, this car does NOT have the pocket area below the stereo as most "universal" mounting kits have on them. It is barely bigger than the typical single DIN sized Sony CD stereo.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
