I wouldnt listen to those guys.
This has been discussed many times on clubgp. Conclusion is that alot of dealers dont even know about the S/C oil. I would stick to what the factory uses.

The S/C oil is definetly leaner and has a different consistency than the engine oil. Just for starters the SC internals might rev faster than the engine and requires an oil that will resist the higher temps and higher friction. Stick to what the SC manufacturer recommends.
RIpn12s, what is better? A Centrifugal SC or the STD one and why?

Depends on what you want.
Low end torque w/ bad heat transfer = roots blower
Less low end torque/ less heat/takes alittle longer to boost = cent.
(There are a few GTP's running the CSC kit that would stomp many higher modded GTP's running the Eaton)
I think the coolest blower for the GPs is a twin screw like a kenny bell. I know of only one car running such a set up. Swapping the Eaton m112 on the 03 Cobras for a Kenny Bell setup is the new rage for that car, and makes massive power.
Intense also has a MP112 kit for the GP's that looks nice. I think this year is going to be very interesting in new choices for blowers.
