Air Bag Light - Code 41

What is the Air Bag Code 41? Can I fix it myself?

I guess this code means "Sensor #1 circuit is open" which makes me think it is a bad connection at the sensor, or bad ground or something.... Am I on the right track?

And where might Sensor #1 be located?

In the middle of the front crossbrace? Underneath the hood latch area? Maybe on the driver side?

Anyone know where Crash Sensor #1 is?
