99 taurus daylights

:smokin: I own a 99 taurus. The daylights started flickering and now they won't come on at all. Any suggestions?

Probably not much help, but I have a 99 Sable, had the same problem. The DRLs would flicker and then go out. Turns out the module had gone bad and was sending surges to the lights, not steady on. I had my dealer just disconnect the plug from the things. Not required in Maine. (Don't like them myself.)

You will need a new DRL module. Disconnecting it will solve the flickering lights but you may have other problems with your lights. I disconnected mine and now my high beam indicator on the instrument cluster doesn't illuminate when they are on, and my park brake light doesn't come on when the park brake is on. :sunglasse
