just wondering what type of suspension the stock 3000gt SL has. i know it has the interchangable suspension, touring/sports. would i be able to put coilovers on to drop the car without interfearing with that? hit me up with some feedback :) thanks

Yeah, you can lower the SL with the coilovers.

the only coilevers i know if that let you keep your active suspension are the ground control, other than that I think you have to go with just springs.

If you got 1200 check out TEIN suspension at 3sxperformance.com it is shipped direct from Japan when you order it. It is the best and most fully adjustable suspension out there. I got the Ground Controls and I can drop it well over 2 inches if I want.

The Tien Flex suspension you are refering to is 1500 at 3sx, and if you want to keep in car controls for the dampening its another 400.

what are the different stock suspensions good for? And how do you change them?

There's two different settings: sport and tour. Tour comes on naturally when you turn on the car and its just like... normal driving suspension. Sport gives you stiffer suspension, so better handling. And you change it by hitting the little ECS button thats right under the rear window defroster button. A green light should come on on the left side of your dash telling you you're in sport or tour mode.

Are all the 3000gt's Ground Control Springs able to drop over 2"? They're all the same right? And where's the best and cheapest place to buy them? Thanks
