Need HELP QUICK!!!!

I have a problem with the clutch. I live in the Chicago area, where it snowed pretty bad for the last 2 days. I didn't drive anywhere yesterday, and this morning when I gave my brother a ride, the clutch was working perfectcly fine, just like the last time I drove the car. However on the way back home, I noticed that it was a lot harder to change gears. When I got back home, got ready for work and went back outside to warm up the car, the car wouldn't change gears at all. I step on the clutch, and it just goes down without any resistance. Sometimes it even sticks to the floor!!! I've never had a problem like this before, the clutch has been perfectly fine. I can't put the car in any gears AT ALL, while it's running. Do I need a new clutch, or what is the problem here? I think it might be the clutch cable. Does anyone know where exactly the clutch cable is, I can't seem to find it. I really need advice fast. I can't afford to not get it fixed soon because I have work and then school at night. I don't wanna keep getting rides.

Any help would be appreciated,

Damir
