XMAS DAY -tv3- 12.00noon Hello Dolly(1969)
3.35pm Doctor Doolittle(1968)
10.05pm Von Ryan's Express(1965)

DEC.26TH -tv3 10.25pm Cricket Highlights - Bangladesh vs. NZ

Would anyone like to add whatever shining examples of entertainment are on offer this holiday season on their local station?

I love all the old christmas TV shows and movies...
the clay movies :D rudolph the red nosed raindeer, frosty the snowman. A christmas story, etc.

not to forget we'll get all the bond movie reruns:o that have been shown every year as far as I can remember....:o

Damn, I might have to start trying to invite myself to some mates family xmas lunchs and dinners. We've had ours, and theres no way I want to be watching that crap come xmas day!.

All I'll be watching on TV this Christmas would be the World Junior Hockey Championships and the Boxing Day special of Hockey Night in Canada™ :D

Hell yeah! I love those old christmas shows and movies, especially those clay varieties. Christmas just wasn't the same as a kid if I didn't see at least one claymation. A Christmas Story was also great--though I saw it recently and thought it was just okay. "I double dog dare ya!" Classic!

It's a Wonderful Life is also great. You really have to watch it all the way through, because the ending is so great. I also like Miracle on 34th (?) Street, the old version.

I just watched "It's a Wonderful Life" earlier tonight. Hands down the best holiday movie around. If that movie doesn't do something for you to get you in the Christmas spirit, nothing will.

Ok, this is REALLY REALLY SAD!

On Xmas eve I went to see some mates who all sort of live in the same house.
Well we talked all night about how we were not going to watch the sound of Music. One of the girls cooked dinner, the other helped and drank wine, the 3 of us guys there sat round playing Grand theft Auto and drinking beer.
Then the sound of fucking music came on.
And this is the sad part. I went and drank with the girls, while the other two guys watched the sound of music! One of them knew most of the lyrics and even sung along! :eek:

Well since Christmas is over the TV programmes now being aired are not much better. So I have went to the local Video shop where I get my vids for free and have taken out 25 for the next couple of weeks of my holiday left.
