'99 Escort Door Lock Control Module

I have a 1999 Escort with keyless entry that you can lock/unlock all the doors with a key ring remote. The module that controls this is bad and I have installed a remote starter that supports power locks. I have tried without success to locate this unit to make the connections to the remote starter. Does anyone know where it might be located ??? Thanks.

Thanks.In England the module is in the cowl of the foot well to the right of our feet so maybe its in the same place but the other way around? passenger foot-well to there right..hope this helps:smile:
