Well near my house there is a 1992 Cadillac Seville STS for sale with 106,000 miles, its in MINT CONDITION! no dents scratches, its original paint and everything. the guy is asking 4995 for the car, but my question to everyone is do u think the car will last? how many miles do cadillacs usually last for? Thanks

Oh,they last. They last a very long time.I said in another forum. One of the Caddys we had when I was younger went to a little over 500,000 miles before it had its first problem. Not to mention that was a minor problem. All the Caddys we had when I was a kid hit over 300K miles before their first problem. The cars never want to die.Thats a pretty good deal for an STS with that mileage.

if you paid five grand you would be paying a tad bit too much but the mileage sounds about right for the age of the car an the life left in the car is entirely based on how good the current owner took care of it .. i would ask about its backround an if i was gonna give that money for any car i would need to see past mechanic bills an all the information that he has on paper about the car if he has no mechanic shop printouts an he is the original owner its safe to assume that he didnt keep up with the cars maintenance an didnt take good care of the caddy also run it a while an search for bad oil seepage an make sure it runs at a sweet idle

Its still a good deal but it is unfortuate that the Northstar did not get put in sevilles till 1993. So that car has the 4.9. I have the Northstar and there is nothing like the power of that engine. I would hold off and wait for one with the Northstar. It makes the Cadillac driving experiece twice as nice.
