i was in autozone to ask about this service.
He says they hook it up to the computer and get codes.
Simple enough. Then he told me it only works with a check engine light.
I have an airbag light on. He says he can't help me.
I do not believe this. An airbag light should set a code in the car's computer shouldn't it?
Can anyone give me a second opinion?

I can access my codes in my Cadillac by pressing the off and warm buttons for the heating system. Check around on the web to find out how to access yours.

well, if all you want to know is why the airbag light is coming on, you should just ask a mechaninc.
It is possible that it is something like the light on my friends cherokee. It comes on after a certain number of miles. perhaps the airbag is just regular maintenence.

autozone most likelly has an ODBII reader so it basically shows codes thrown by the ECU and i think the airbag system is independent of the ecu
