i dont think the engine mounts will fit w/o lots of modification, anything is possible w/money. why not put a d16a1 from an 86-89 integra, i think CRXDan is doing this swap, he keeps up with this forum

a 91 Civic Si will not fit right in. Its one of the hardest swaps to do you might as well go b series. No one makes a kit to install a 88-00 Civic D series into a 84-87 CRX. It requires removal of the engine mounts on the frame and rewelding.. and it requires you use the 86-89 Integra tranny and knuckles. Simply said.. a 86-89 Integra swap is much easier and the bonus is you get 113hp vs the 108hp the si gives u. If you get a 88-89 Blacktop D16 it has 118hp. but this requires some wiring modification as the 88-89 had electronic advance distributors. The brown top (86-87) Is a straight bolt in swap. You must use teh 86-89 ECU, Tranny, Linkage, Axles and knuckles.

Also you will need to convert your carbed to F/I.. this requires removal of the fuel tank to install the fuel pump.. as well as high pressure fuel lines and I woudl basically swap out the whoel Civic harness in favour of the Integra harness.

Gees Dan that sounds like alot of stuff for the few extra H.P. But whatever works.By the way the clutch finally quit slipping in my 87.Maybe it just took some extra break in time. Thanks again!
