Hey all you Camaro Owners
This is the deal, today i've noticed that my Oil Pressure Gauge read at 40 thats normal. but after like a couple minutes of driving it dropped to around 25 - 30 and it sways. and when i engaged the clutch it reads 20. it never does that, it always read 40, til today now there's no clanking or knocking so i ruled out the engine bearing. whats going on????

Mine goes down lower than 20 once the car gets warmed up. The fluctuation should be consitent with the rpms. As they increase, so will the oil pressure. I know you say it just started doing this, but it sounds normal to me... :dunno:

yeah, that sounds normal to me too. cold oil is harder to push through the oil pathways, so the pressure is higher, as it wams, it thins, so the pressure drops. now it is odd to me that the pressure drops when you engage the clutch, because the engine speed should go up, and thus the pressure should go up as well.
