Entire dash is out of the car. How the @#$*& do you remove or disassemble the heater box to get access to the heater core? Any help would be great.

I had the same problem with my 1995 lhs. I found the last bolt holding the housing that contained the heater core. Please read my post and answer. I hope this helps.

After disconnecting the tubes from the evaporator in the engine compartment, There were several bolts holding the heater core box to the fire wall, again in the engine compartment. Two or three bolts, not sure. The entire box came off the fire wall very easily. A bit of prying and the heater core slipped out of the heater box. Assembly was simple compared to the disassembly. Still don't have enough heat in the car. I'm gettin gthe feeling that the heater core was good, but the actuator door for the heater core is bad. I'm not lookin gforward to ripping the dash down again to change the actuator.
