Odometer fraud

This is regarding my 1992 bonneville se. I have had the car for about a year now and have already had $2,500 in repairs on the car. When I bought the car it said it only had 92,000 miles on it. Seemed a bit low but the car also seemed to drive well at the time. Because the car broke down so much I questioned if the odometer was false or not. Then as I read through the owners manual I realized the odometer is tamper evident on this car. In other words if it was turned back there will be silver lines in between the digits. When I look at the odometer there does seem to be some sort of gray or silver lines running between all the digits. If someone can please look at there odometer and tell me what theirs looks like, I would really appreciate it. Also I live in Washington State and if anyone has any advice on laws or what I can do to get my money back or something, it too would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you go to CARFAX.com and do a history on the car (by plugging in the VIN#) it will tell you the entire title history, and the status of the title -ex.salvaged, rebuilt, etc. dates, mileage and location (where titled). If you still feel there is evidence that it has been tampered with, you can contact your local branch (state of Washington) "Attorney Generals Office" They can assist you in filing a report, and will conduct an investigation. I have an 94 SSEi, and dont know if they would be the same, but I do not have the lines that you mention. Good Luck!
