stang vs vette

I have a 1984 vette and a 1986 stang . had the vette 3 days now it has headers,k&n,X-ram,85 fuel pump,chip, 2 inch TB,454 injectors,The stang has headers,chip 3.73,b&m short throw,ram air,trick flow heads,. And i got my bud to drive the vette first we race 0-70 the stang get a little jump and the vette stays to the door tell 35 than passes me and pulls 1 1/2 cars by 70 .Sec. run 60-100 vette pulls ahead 3 1/4 cars.so the vette wins every time. off the line was close but the stang wins tell 35 mph due to the poor tires on the vette!! And took stang ot track got a 13.1 1/4

I looked at an 84 vette a few years ago does it have the cross fire fuel injection?

I think the 84 had cross fire injection, TPI came out around 85 or 86. Since there was no 83 Vette I want to say 84 was the first and only year, but I'm really not sure. I am hardcore Mustang but I lusted over a Vette before I knew what a Mustang was. Never had one, not yet anyway. My 5o is not for sale, no body would give me enough money to part with it. Although if the right Vettte came along I would consider a trade. Check out this sexy thing.

You are correct 84 was the first and only year of crossfire injection. From what Ive read it didn't do very well. And yes that is a beauty.

i wouldnt mind owning an all original 53 vette. or even one with a 427. but id rather it be all original.
