I half-expect some guy in a sport coat and slacks to jog up to it and drive off to lunch. It looks very realistic and very classy.

I almost was thinking the same thing, I had a vision of a guy with a black suit and black sunglasses to step out.

Thank you very much for the comments!

Alex, I think so too. it belong to the school of Nissan's recent body style.
The big eyes(headlights) are not my taste but they have elegant total balance of shape.

My next coming stuff is maybe NSX-R or BMW M coupe.

How did you go about the tinting on the windows as it's done very well. was it Tamiya Smoke? Airbrushed, thinned etc.

Awesome work as usual!
But 1 thing i think you missed is the nissan emblem at the front grill. I think you should have painted it silver.

I know. I dare not paint it silver. I thought that just flat black grill is not bad somehow.
thanks.

Very fine, glossy, elegant. These cars are real pieces of work, and becoming popular very fast. Damn shame us in the US get the crappy Infinity(or i) G35 badging. But in 07' well have our first GTR!!

Very good build kunta, I guess we'll see a nismo version from you?

Kunta, one question.. the rims look VERY realistic. Did you prep/paint them or are the box stock?

Theres really nothing much i could say about this model, the pictures speaks for itself, i could have sworn it was a pic of a real car,I knew from the progress pics that this would be another classic from you.

Kunta do you need an apprentice?? i will gladly volunteer :iceslolan trully inspirational stuff!

I know you said you were building at "full throttle," but I think you may have gone even a bit past the redline here!! :sunglasse

Be careful not to overheat. ;)

Flawless! Perfect choice on everything. glad to see one done, I just picked one up from my Hobby Shop. Is it me or is it out of scale, seems a little to wide and just overall huge. I put it next to a Tamiya R34 and it totally dwarfed it. Maybe its just me but I imagine this car to be smaller than an R34.

hi how did u tint the window thks

windows can be tinted by using automotive tint. there are other methods possible... but you must use the search function for that  also please check out the F&Q section, there are some real useful information on there..

lastly, welcome to AF

If you read the post, he told you what he used (pg 2)... I think the real tint film is much to thick for a scale look

I'm not one for thread resurrection, but Kunta, just lemme borrow the keys for, oh, an hour or 2 and I won't tell a soul about this being a photoshoot of the real thing :icon16: Great paint!
