Hi, Im planning on buying a used 94-96 acura integra ls or GSR depending on price. I found a car lot which sells many acuras in New Hampshire from $7000 to $9500. Now, Im wondering what should I look for to check and make sure the car will last when buying a used car? Any tests I can run. Who should I take it to?
Thanks alot:smoker2:

i would probably take the car to a dealer to inspect, unless of course, you know a mechanic that won't screw you around. otherwise, check for leaks, the contact point of the clutch (gs-r's are a higher clutch - at least mine is, so be careful there), tires, brakes, and the sound of the engine. the other thing you should look into is the vehicle's history - number of owners, number of collisions of any, the title (salvage, theft recovery), and whatever else. if you can get service records, that's a good indication of what has been done to the car if there were any problems. hope this helps. good luck.
