What's up Sentra enthusiast,
First day on the block, and I'm sending you all a CALL FOR HELP. Pops gave me his 1992 Nissan Sentra XE after getting rid of my 1998 Mazda 626. The car is in decent condition. The engine is so-so. Lots of miles, 170,662 to be exact. I need some advice on wether to go ahead and consider a swap for a used engine or dish out the cash for a new swap. I'm interested in some help on finding cheap interior mods (panels, guages, SEATS!, etc). Hope to hear from you all soon on this beginning of my much exciting journey. Paz!

well depends how much money you got to spend? If u got enough go for the SR20DE swap. If u got a enough then do the SR20DET. They make like 205 horses and then start to supe up that motor and you`ll whoop some ass. but it all depends on how much you got spend.

welcome, your car has some miles,my 91' sentra XE has 182k,still runnin strong. I've seen people with 200k+ and they still racin and fixing them up. I think your car will still last. Good luck with it,you might wanna keep it till it dies,it will make it to the 200k miles for sure...

My husband and i bought our 1992 sentra xe 29 months ago with 91000 miles. it now has 213000 on it. the only problems we have has is the waterpump 2 times. 5/02 and just 2/6/04 . the battery is out of date but the car is still great. if u want something to give u life keep with what u have and dont do anything till u have to. the timing chain if it goes then i suggest new vehicle becasue how much it cost to replace. good luck.
