mad at savage 25

i just got my savage for xmas and the throttle wont open all the way, i cant figure out whats wrong with it. HELP!!!

Well you can do a couple of things. If you got the truck new, first look through all of the paper work that came with it. The info you seek should be there...mabye. Or, look on your transmitter and mess with the throttle adjustment knob until the desired affect is achieved. If that doesn't work, look at the throttle linkage and look for a metal collar with a grub screw and loosen it. Then adjust the rod until the thottle will open all the way and tighten the grub screw. You will need an allen wrench to do this, but the truck should have come with the proper tools if it was purchased new. If not, take it to your LHS and ask there for the correct tools.

Hey if you just the Savage 25 and this is your first timerunning it then yo9u still need to break the motor in and for your first time at running it run breakin fuel in it not regular fuel! And once it is broke in then take it to a hobby shop and have them change the peek on it!
