Crank Balancer

Hi all, I own a 94 deville Concours with 189,000 and running strong. I just happened to be running the car with the hood up, just looking and checking things out, when i noticed the crank balancer has a wobble to it. I was looking on another site checking out Northstar info. and i ran upon some info that said Cadillac recommended a new and improved balancer if engine rebuilding or removel of your old balancer for any reason, but there was no reasoning for this (noise, wobble, etc). One other thing! the driver information readout says to SERVICE RIDE CONTROL SYSTEM, the owners manual says to take it to the dealer, but we know how painfull that can be. Any thoughts?

Thanks.
