How Much You Pay For Your Ride?

Before I bought my DSM I was looking into the new Celicas and they had a thread like this... anyway it was pretty interesting seeing what people bought and how much they paid for it.

So I'll start off here, I have a 97 black Eclipse RS 5spd. It came with 58,000 miles and I paid $6,900 cash.

I would list the mods, but theres a similar thread on that already and I have too many to list anyways hehe.

Oh and I live in Oregon, so I dunno how that compares to other places or what not.

Well I'm interested in seeing what you guys got! :)

5-Spd, 82,000 miles when i bought it in Salt Lake City. paid $7100 cash.

although i have put about $4500 in mods into the car... so i have paid $4500 for my car so far!

I bought my 95 with 50k miles. This was 4 years ago Monday, so I paid dearly. 12 grand. :icon16: Every penny was well spent if you ask me.

98 GST, 88k, $6850, 5sp, bought it 2 months ago, thought it was a good deal, runs awesome, money well spent IMO.

Oh yeah, bought it in NY drove it back to OH.

I live in minnesota, but I flew down to florida to buy it.

97 TSI AWD 35,000 miles w/ under 100 miles on the new engine/turbo/clutch/brakes and a $4,000 dollar warranty still - $11,700 with $1,000 dent that i replaced the door for, so 12,700.

bought my '97 eclipse GST spyder in new york w/ just under 60k miles for $9995...then it blew up a week later due to crankwalk :( dropped a new engine, clutch, slave & master cylinders, and trannie in it too. so now i'm up to a little over $17,000 :S

98 gs 70k bought it for $6500. a week ago. regret it now. should have bought a turbo one.

excellent condition, fully loaded w/black leather int.

97 gst with 50,000 miles had no dings or dents it was perfict 10,500

just bought a '97 GST, 82,000.....just got back from picking it up to be exact! traded the guy my car stereo for it :iceslolan although it needs a turbo

no i live in Riverton, Wy i found the car on the web, and drove down to check it out, it is about a 6-hour drive, stood on the throttle once and told him i would take it. lol.

I bought a 1995 Eclipse Gs, (134K miles) Factory, bought it for $1650, Now have many mods, i need a hood bad!

99 gst 28k miles. got it for 12.... bank repo baby!

98 GS-T 38K miles $11,500 mint condition a lady owned it before me and needed to sell it to get a bigger car cause she got her real estate license! :biggrin:

a friend of mine bought a 98 rs about 4 months ago 5speed, 42,000 miles she could drive a stick so i had to test drive it, take it home for her, then teach her how to drive it. i think it was a steal. oh she paid * grand for it. come to find it was repoed from a drug dealer in cali.

you meant to say you got a GS-T spyder. the didnt offer the GSX in a spyder package. none the less it sounds like you got a good deal.

97 GS-T Spyder, 78k mi, 5-03, 99% stock (crappy aftermarket stereo and speakers)

$9000 with 3 yr/36k bumper to bumper, cash

after 7 months: approx $6500 mods and rims... and still going...
