No low beams. Help!

I have a 97 Cheyenne and the low beams have just stopped working. Even tried replacing the bulbs but, still no luck. Anyone got any ideas?

A wire had burned off of the connecting terminal at the dimmer switch! I had to solder it to the terminal as the terminal looked to be permanently "welded" to its connector. No idea how it could have burned.
