i have a few questions on turbos
1. if u have a wastegate with a 7lbs spring, when u get a boost controller can u surpass 7lbs?
2 do u need to bring ur chip tp hondata when you buy a turbo kit or is that only needed when u custom make ur kit?
3 can turbo lag make you or break u in a race?
4 how much of a difference does a turbo exhaust do?
5 when you have a turbo car do HAVE to run 92 octane?
6 when you boost ur ride is it bad for ur turbo to change PSI alot like going from 2psi to 10 every other day?
7 if you ride with 2 psi and only run at peak psi when racing will it perserve your motor?
thx y'all

4. turbo exhuast let's air flow more freely, good for turbo.
5. I'm pretty sure you do.
6. No clue
7. Probably, but why would you want to ride around with only 2psi, 6-9psi is safe with good tuning
Hope i was some assistance

to answer the first question if the wastegate spring is set at 7 psi then you cant run 6 psi you can only run 7 or higher so yes you can change the psi to higher than 7

1. yes,
2. I don't know of a kit that comes with hondata. So it would have to be a custom kit, which means you would have to take it somewhere to get it dyno tuned, not necessarily to hondata.
3. Turbo LAG wont help you win a race but just wait for the boost to kick in then its all worth it.
4. A lot, 3inch exhaust is probably the best for a turbo setup, depending on the amount of boost youre running
5. You dont HAVE to run 92, you could run 91 but it is definitely better to run 92+.
6. No it's not bad for your turbo, it is bad for your engine if you dont have the hondata set for both, 2psi and 10psi. Just make sure to change it everytime you change boost.
7. Yes it would, but like genuine said why would you want to run 2psi for daily driving. Waste of a turbo I think.
