Whats happening all you Camaro Owners,

Hope you all had all great christmas and a great new year. i'm going to get straight to the point. i'm going to go the Detroit Auto Show and i want to get some signatures around from anyone that would like to see the Camaro brought back. So if you would like to see one of America's great Muscle Cars every created Brought Back please leave your ->

imho, i think GM should model a new camaro after the 3rd gen. I think it was the best looking. an LS6 in one of those would kick ass

And I know it's off the subject, but The new vette's baseline has an all new LS2 405hp..holly wow.

GM should bring a new Camaro back because there is a serious shortage of RWD vehicles period. They drug all the other classic names they brought back through the mud, maybe they can get this one right.

The Camaro is a car that every car enthusiast/wannabe enthusiast gawks at while growing up all through high school. It's the car I have always dreamed of since I seen one. It is the car that made me jealous of my friend because he got to drive his uncle's '00 SS for a week. It is the car that I now own, paying a guestimate of 90% of my paycheck, and it is a car that I will NEVER sell!

They need to come back, no question. The Corvette is gorgeous as well I admit, but it needs a good, hearty, worthy competitor. Who will give it that? The Ford Mustang? :sly: :rofl:

There's not many on this board. Everyone is on their local boards, and boards like ls1.com and camaroz28.com...

why bring it back? i'll tell you why.... 13.40 on stock tires with only MINOR mods. AND it takes a blown mustang to keep up with or beat a stock ls1 camaro. put a blower on an ls1.....high 11's anyone?

For some reason I was not thinking the other say when I went to look at getting a new Chevy, and was debating between a Monte or a Camaro, and found out they don't make Camaro's anymore, and (for some reason I'm not suprised) they still don't make Monte Carlos SS with V8s.

Hey I am only 19 my name is Jaime and i have a 2000 z28 which is my baby. I had always wanted a z28 since I was 6 when my cousin got his 1986 z28. Camaro's are a big part of my childhood and i am sure i am no the only one. My little brother wants one too. Even my mom loves my car and she is 49. Ttops of and the wind in your hair their is nothing better. Plus who else but the camaro should kick mustang ass.

I don't own or never had owned one, but I am seriously thinking about purchasing a 95-96 Z-28. I live in California where emissions are very tight. I make decent money, so if I get it, I would be adding alot of perfomance underneath the hood. Just wondering, if anybody knows, how many horses could I crank out and still pass Cail's tough smog tests? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

The Camaro is a beautiful car with many good qualities and that is unbelieveably fun to drive. Tons of power, excellent price, gorgeous looks and an American Icon. There were only a few minor problems people didn't like about the car that could easily been taken care of and that would put the Camaro on the top of the list (again).

It's hard to duplicate the raw power, and high-decibel rumble of the 1st generation Camaro. I'm lucky to own this American classic.

the only reason that GM stopped production is because the resale value stunk! and the market was full of them! So when they think the resale value is better they will bring it back

I think my preference for a new camaro would have to be one that has the new 500HP C6-Z06 motor that looks like this...
