I am in the market for a 350Z finally, and everywhere I go I am running into a lot of used Z's. What is the reasoning behind this? Why are people getting rid of these cars so quickly? Am I missing something or are people just not able to make the payments on them? It just kind of scares me to see so many floating around because I would think once you get your hands on one, you wouldn't want to let it go.....

I wouldn't let that scare you. The Z had a lot of hype when it came out and was the fashionable thing to buy for awhile. The initial purchasing group included a lot of posers who just had to have it. The Z is a real performance car and brings with it a lot of things the average schmo won't be able to deal with very well -- edgy personality, rough ride, not the best traction in wet and snow, etc. So those people are being "weeded out" if you will. They sold and will move on to the next trend. Good riddance. If you like cars though, the Z is great. I drove one today and think I'm going to buy one as a stablemate to my E36 BMW M3/4. Just don't worry and enjoy!
