My dad has his CDL (commercial driver's liscence) and he taught me well! :D I may not be an expert driver after 3 years, but I like to think I know a good deal!

Damn, $700 more per year? I think I pay out about $800 total. I would be for looking into a new policy. Someone sure is making a living off you.

I live in mass, i dont have a choice. I hate this fuckin state. And all the guys here pay more than the girls. By a lot. I think it should be at least equal, if not the other way around. and i pay around $1900 total. Its complete bullshit.

A lot of states make you pay more if you're a guy under 25. Some states even charge you more if you car is red! :eek:

its not only in the US even here in the UK guys pay a lot more then women........think it should at the very least be equal......:)

The pay more for male drivers seems to be a global thing. Here in New Zealand same thing.
It used to be years ago that women drivers were not as aggressive as male drivers hence the premium differences. Over the past 10 years though things have changed, yet the insurance companies have not reviewed their policies towards younger drivers. This seems to be aimed more at the under 25 drivers and even those under 30.
I know once I hit the almighty 31 my insurance rates dropped like a stone. They told me that since I am now over 30 that I am considered to be more relaxed and have gotten my lead foot years done with and over.

Pennsylvania insurance is higher for guys than girls, as well.

I pay just shy of $800 a year for my insurance (higher b/c car is in my own name). My brother will be paying quite a bit once he gets his liscense... Thank God he only has his permit for now!!!!!!!!
