Nothing special going on with this one - box stock except that I've made the front bumper slightly deeper - I'm thinking of painting it white with a C/F Hood. Wheels are from Revell Integra with Pegasus sleeves.

Looks good. White looks really good on the RSX. Keep us posted, and I'm sure it'll be hot, just like all your other kits.

Is this the RSX-R? White base, white gloss, pearl clear. IMO, maybe the 12spoke, 5spoke, or grey mr7 7spoke wheels would look better in those sleeves, specialy if they were white with the pearl clear. Any idea what else will be done to this?

could compliment the interior with a half cage and some racing seats. that'd be cool, and keeping it stock.

I know I said I was going to build it basically out of the box but having used the side skirts from the Wings West Accord wagon on the RX8 I had the front bumper hanging around so I thought why not :evillol:
Heres how it looks grafted on to the RSX - obviously I have a bit of putty work to do !

I will Tonio - just need to make it a bit "pointier" to follow the lines of the grille but I think some plastic card & putty should do it.

Did a little bit of work on the front bumper yesterday -
decided to make the opening a bit smaller so it matches
the width of the grille - still a bit more filling & sanding to go yet before I'm completely happy with it.

It's about time I posted some more progress on this one but to be honest there hasn't been much happening. More filing & sanding - basically trying to make the bumper curved to make it flow better. Anyway here's where it is currently - a few small imperfections to sort out but hope to have it sprayed tomorrow (weather permitting) -paint will be orange with a white graphic.

uh, that was primer, a base coat he added before he would add the final color (orange). kind gives the final paint a fuller look, make applying the paint easier-helps it stick.

The kit I used is Fujimi Feels Interga Type R (FUJ 18642) - Fujimi do other versions - (FUJ 03538) is basically the same kit and cheaper I think.

Perhaps a Carbon Fiber wing to match the hood. Otherwise the car looks very sharp in that orange

the wing from the revell itr with body color sides and a cf mid piece would be sweet.

They're just resting on the chassis plate at the moment just to get a general idea how they'll look - I haven't started the suspension (for some reason it's usually the last thing I get round to doing)

Tamiya masking tape let me down for once ! - interiors not finished yet so nothing glued down at the moment.

I was bored last night so decided to polish out the clear coat and add a few decals (I know - I should get out more :uhoh:)
IMHO the shape lends itself to some type of wing so rooted around in the spares box and came up with the spare wing from the Evo viii - not sure whether to remove the central support or not and I'll have to remove the brake light - heres the pics

More fuel for the wing/wingless debate :evillol:
