So are you looking for parts cheap? Where are you located? There's a junk yard about 45 minutes from me in MA that has 5 wrecked 5.0 fox's.

don't buy a wrecked one. you will spend more money on body parts and paint than you ever would for the car.
just find some old lady or something like that, they will usually sell for around 350-500.

A 4banger Stang is an excellent starting point, it's a pretty common and straightforward project.

a while back hiflow told me to find a donor car that way i could take the engine the brakes, trans, etc.. Im in Kansas City, Ks. I was kindof hoping for more hands on help like somebody knowing somebody who has one. Like somebodys brothers friends babys daddy has one for this amount. I have looked into the junkyard option but everything i come acrossed has already been picked to death. Also the body is in good shape. On a serious note the big reason i want to do this is because ive never had a car that i could brag about or be proud of because ive never had alot of money and if i could just get the right help i think i can make something really special. Im trying to do this the cheapest way possible. Heck i bought my 93 2.3l hatchback with 140 k miles for only $400.
