i heard there is a engine for MR 2 call Beams
so is it good for me 2 swap it

3. Have you looked into the 3S-GTE (if u dont have a turbo?

In 1998 the engine was available but rare only around a 1000 where put into MR2s. The engine has dual VVT-i and it easly distinguishable by its red top and Beams written on the top. They are sometimes know as "red tops." This was the 4th version of the 3S-GE and produces 197hp. All that being said if you are looking for a N/A engine its a very good one. However I think you will find you get the most power for the money (and fun in my humble opinion) from a 3S-GTE. Turbos are fun easier to find and cheaper hp. But to each their own
