Hi, does anyone know how to remove the grille from the rear deck stock speakers of a 94 g20?
Does anyone know how to take the speaker out itself?

Take the back seat out and unclip the rear deck. It's one piece. Easy.

Hey, where in Mass are you from? Yeah, like the guy above me said, it's pretty easy to get the rear deck out, because the grilles are attached to it. But if you have fold down seats, you won't have to take the seat out.

On this note....if you buy 6.5's to fit for the back, they dont match up to the holes! Is there a particular size that fits? Or a kit that makes them fit?

yeah, you gotta look for 6 3/4"
This size is also known as: oversize 6 1/2"
This size is also known as: Euro 6 1/2"

That's not entirely true!!!!!!! I bought 6 1/2" speakers (Infinity 652i's) and they have directions on installation in an oversized location. The holes lined right up, and in went the screws!!!!!
You just have to watch and see what it is you're getting. Some speakers are called 6 3/4", others are oversized 6 1/2"... but like I said, mine were simply called 6 1/2" and they fit in perfectly to the existing holes! The only bad part was cutting the plastic board that sits on the rear deck (that has the speaker grilles attached to it) because the new speakers were really 6 1/2" around instead of my crappy stock speakers that sat into a sort of plate.....
Good luck!

The Infinity 652.i have holes for 6 1/2" and 6 3/4". Where as my Infinity 60.2cs 6 1/2" mids do not line up. The G20 does in fact need 6 3/4" mids in the rear. If you happen to buy 6 1/2" mids, you'll have to drill them bigger and use silicone to seal around the edge or you will experience rattling with mediocre power applied (experience talking).

Does anyone know how to take the speaker out itself?
The following link shows pics on how to remove the rear seats and rear deck in order to remove the rear speakers. http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalInfinitiG20RSpkR.htm
I wish I would have found this prior to removing my rear deck which wasn't a pleasant experience. Also when inquiring about replacement speakers, let the sales person know that they are for oversize 6 1/2 speakers.
